Regional Transport Conference
Objectives
The Welsh Government has recently published their Transport Strategy Consultation, which closes on 25th January 2021. In partnership with Swansea Environmental Forum and Natural Resources Wales, we want to host a major regional conversation about the future of transport in South West Wales - not with transport campaigners and politicians but with real people and businesses who care about the future of the region.
Update
Lee Waters MS has confirmed that he will speak at the event, and the dates are confirmed for 9th and 10th February. Spread over two consecutive mornings, the conference will provide an open forum to explore key challenges and opportunities - and design new solutions - making sure we are all listening to each other and moving forward together, towards a greener, cleaner, healthier, more inclusive and better connected transport system for our region.
Next Steps
Our priority is to engage with more partners, including the PSBs, major employers and regional authorities, to ensure we are all working together. If you represent an organisation, business or community group involved in travel and transport in Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire, Neath Port Talbot and/or Swansea, please get in touch with zoe@4theregion.com about opportunities to showcase your work at this event.
