Joy of the Journey feedback
Ebenezer church Warm Hub volunteers:
“On behalf of our coffee morning group at Ebenezer Baptist Church we’d like to thank you so much for the lovely trip you organised for us to Burry Port. We had no idea what to expect and we had an excellent day. In our group some of us are getting on and others have trouble walking etc. and were apprehensive about how they would manage this trip on the train. We hadn’t realised that such a beautiful place was right on our doorstep and it was so easy to get there by train. Now that we know how convenient it is to get to such places by train we will definitely go again by train. We now have the confidence to go alone as we could see the support available at the train station to help us”
Art Group Wales:
The train was clean & comfortable, the scenery lovely & the fact we were in a group made it better and the best day of the year according to one of our members. We were able to talk about the destination & what we had seen & done. Eve & Geraint helped make it an enjoyable day. Very informative about the trains, different discounts & services available also sorting out the lunchtime refreshments of which we were very grateful. We would seriously think about going to destinations by train as a group in future. Thank you again for a brilliant day.
