Competition Terms and Conditions
1. This competition is promoted by South West Wales Connected Community Rail Partnership (SWWCo), High Street Station, Swansea SA1 1NU
2.1 Participants are asked to send their entry to ashley@southwestwales.co. Participants under the age of 16 must have parental approval before submitting their entry. By sending an entry you have given us permission to use it.
2.2 Winning entries will be displayed on our website – www.southwestwales.co
3.1 All entries must be submitted with a completed entry form and media consent form.
3.2 South West Wales Connected reserves the right in its absolute discretion to extend the closing date if applicable.
3.3 No entry fee is required. You are responsible for any cost of issuing your entry.
3.4 We will not accept:
(a) responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
(b) proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry.
3.5 By submitting an entry, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
4.1 Entry is open to individuals or groups within the communities of South West Wales.
4.2 In entering you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize should you win.
4.3 We will not accept entries:
(a) that have been automatically generated by computer;
(b) that have been completed by third parties or in bulk;
(c) that are illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
(e) that are incomplete;
(f) that are not suitable to show to be displayed on our website.
4.4 We reserve all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the promotion.
5.1 Winners will be decided by a panel from all the valid entries received in accordance with these terms and conditions.
5.2 Prizes are not negotiable other than set out in the terms above or transferable.
6.1 The decision of the panel is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
6.2 We will contact the winners as soon as practicable, using the contact details provided with the entry. We will not amend any contact information once the entry form has been submitted.
7.1 We will contact the winners via the schools or community group. Prizes will be delivered to the school or community group.
7.2 We do not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
8. Insofar as is permitted by law, South West Wales Connected, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winners or accept any liability for any loss, damage, or personal injury or death. Your statutory rights are not affected.
9.1 By entering you agree that South West Wales Connected CRP and other rail industry stakeholders may use your name, image, county of residence and your entry (video, song, poem, script or storyboard) for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes.
9.2 By entering you agree that any personal information provided by you with the competition entry may be held and used only by South West Wales Connected. or its agents and suppliers to administer the competition.
9.3 By entering the usage rights of the entries submitted become the property of South West Wales Connected (SWWCo) and may be used in other promotional or educational materials both online and in print by SWWCo and other rail industry stakeholders.
10.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, we may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude your entry.
10.2 We reserve the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the initiative where it becomes necessary to do so.
10.3 Any product or other items displayed or promotional material is purely incidental to the purpose of this initiative. We accept no liability for use of such material nor warrant its quality or suitability.
10.4 These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
